There is a famous building with the same address -- 1515 Broadway in NYC is the home of MTV Networks. I used to work in that building. So, walking around downtown Detroit, I was at first taken by the address, but then compelled by the sight.

Austin, Texas

Rust, originally uploaded by Theresa K.

From March, 2003 - I had already been photographing foundried things such as manhole covers, sewer grates and other street plugs made of iron for about two years when I went to Austin for the SXSW festival - convention. Of all the cities in the USA that I have photographed manhole covers, Austin is the city with the most "Made in the USA" foundry work.

I am pleased to report that this shot is one of Troy Gregory's favorites.
